Proof of Funds

I am a Ghanaian and a civil servant. My salary is not up to 300 USD so it's obvious my bank account is almost empty all the time.
On the other hand my father owns a civil engineering company and has lots of money in his account. He wants to assist me with 20,000 USD to support me immigrate to Canada for better opportunities.
How do I explain and present this to visa office in my application once I get an ITA?

A gift deed explaining that the money is a gift and not a loan and that he does not expect to get that money back from you.

Look for templates in this forum and use google to learn more about gift deeds.

Thanks for the assistance. Before I make the fixed the deposit, I want to know if they have banks they accept and ones they don't so I don't fix my money where it will be irrelevant.

As far as I know, you will have to put that amount in your own account,
