Proof of Funds

Hello guys,
I got ITA on Nov. 16, I got all my docs ready but only question is about Proof of funds, I have LMIA and working in Canada from last 3 years. My spouse is also in my file and lives in Australia. I am very confused about funds, Under CEC i dont need to meet fund requirements or Do i need to show $12000 in my account which I dont have. Please if anyone knows anything, please let me know

Hi there.

I applied under CEC Outland Express Entry.

It is correct that you do NOT have to provide Proof of Funds for CEC.
I uploaded a letter of explanation with a printscreen of CIC's website where it states you do not need proof of funds for CEC (made on the day I uploaded the document), explaining that this is the information that I found. I added that if they wish for me to upload proof of funds, I was of course willing to do so.

My application got approved a month ago, so I guess I did the right thing
