Proof of funds

Hi,
i want to know that for proof of funds , can i give bank statement of my accompying wife's bank account , will they accpet it . i am the principal applicant and just want to make sure that they dont reject it on basis that bank statement is not from principal applicant's account. Anyone who has done this and their applicantion got approved. please i need to know urgently.
2nd thing now they specify London visa office for all Pakistani applicants as of april 1 2010, i applied on jan 12 2010 and got file number on march 12 2010, on email that i recieved they mention Islamabad visa office, i am now confused to where to send my documents.

any help is appreciated.

1. Yes, you can if she is going with you.
2. I would probably call them. However, it would be naturally to send the documents to the office they asked - Islamabad. I am sure they would forward them to London if needed.

Bank statement on name of your spouse is only acceptable if she is accompnaying you. If you have much time in your 120 days when u are submitting ur documents, then send it to CHC Islamabad, in worst case they 'll send documents back to you and will ask you to send thesse documents to London, in best case they 'll transfer the documents to London themselves. So you got nothing to loose. If your 120 days deadline is nearer to its end when u r submitting the full doc then send it to London.

thanks for all yur help , feel bit relieved now.
one more thing i was self employed for a period of more than a year, but that was quite a while ago and i dont have any kind of letter head or stamp to prove that, what can i do about it. will write a letter explaining it but what else can be done. BTW i am a physician and i am applying under Family Physician category.
