Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello someone,

I have a question and I don't know if anyone has been in this situation before? I was wondering if during the time of proof of fund, if it's possible to allow both principal applicant and spouse to submit their proof of fund as one. For example if the wife is the principal applicant, she has a job and some little fund although not enough as to what they are requesting and the husband (spouse) has a better job and would have some little fund as well. So in this scenario, will they accept job letter from both applicant and spouse? A bank statement from both applicant and spouse? Note: The husband cannot be the principal applicant because his ielts is lower in mark than wife's own and age also gives wife a better mark than husband, wife has her ECA already, husband can't get his ECA due to time constraint (no much time because of Job to chase it up and his institution has penchant for delaying everything) BUT, husband's job and account is richer and more presentable than wife's. So will they accept two as one when it come to proof of fund?

Yes they will. As long as your account is either a joint account with your spouse or not a joint account. Joint account with mother for example - wont count.

Edited for clarity:
It does not seem like you have to. Check this -

Thanks everyone for the reply. At least am a bit relieved to know I can submit the two separate accounts. We don't have joint accounts but separate accounts, and even at that the accounts alone will not be enough, and am wondering if they also accept proof of termination benefits and proof of pension funds. In my home country termination benefit is the money given to you when you resign or your contract is terminated probably due to staff reduction or something else from a particular job. But this money can only be given to you when you resign but when still in active service also your pension fund you can only access it when you are jobless. Both of us will have good money in benefits but only when we resign And we cannot take the risk of resigning when we don't have the Visas. We shall find a way around I guess.

Thanks all for your contributions, it helped a lot.
