Proof of Funds

Hello All

Please advise me on this as i am really struggling

I have my money in Uk bank BUT I AM LEAVING uK as work permit expired and going back to pakistan. i dont want my money to transfer to pakistan and neither i want to keep that in uk. i am looking to transfer it to my brother who lives in canada and has PR.

if i apply for immigration or study permit in the next 6 months then is this going to be a problem to show funds from my brothers bank account

is it ok if i provide documentations and historical trace of those funds

You can keep that money with you as traveler's check or in form of bonds.....!!!!

Could you open an account in an English bank like Scotia Bank or HSBC (or any others that have branches in Canada) then transfer the funds to a Canadian branch when you get here? While you could keep the paper trail of where your money came from and went, it is so much clearer to keep it in your own name.

If you transfer money to your brother now, it will be hard to prove that it is your money irrespective of paper trail.
