it all depend if you are in Canada or not. if u are applying under CEC then no need for proof of funds. If applying outside of canada then you have to proof that u have $12.000 \ person. Hope that helps!

I had recently created a profile which mentioned 12000 and my profile became ineligible. They had updated the amount in May 2017
So I suggest use a figure like 13000 so that even if in future they update it from 12300 to a higher figure, your profile isn't affected
