Hello, I have a query regarding the proof of funds. I've been in US for quite some time now. I saw that POF requires previous 6 months closing statements. I have an average of $3300 - $4500 USD i.e. ($4166 - $5218 CAD) for the last six months, this is a salary account and I do happen to have the pay-stubs.

Early this week, I have received an amount of $8k from my family member (to whom I've lent it earlier). Now the total balance sums up to $14k USD i.e. ($18000 CAD) which is more than required amount for one person.

Now my question is, should I be concerned about the previous 6 month's closing balances and can I just explain in the LOE that I have received the funds form a family member which I've lent or should there be any gift deed in this case?

Proof that it's lent money that's been returned or a gift deed.
