Hey all,

Landing soon here. I'm wondering if the IM. Officer is going to expect me to show proof of funds to support myself, even though I'm being sponsored by my husband? Also is he/she going to expect me to show proof of Job/Job interviews? I don't want to apply for jobs until I'm physically in Canada because 1) I'm still in the States working full time and 2)It doesn't look like I'm local on my Resume so no one would want to hire me.

thanks

Nope! Sponsorship implies you will be fully supported by the sponsor. If you have your COPR and accompanying paperwork (all the stuff they said to bring) you will be fine.

Good luck!

If you are officially landing to become a PR, the only thing you need to provide is COPR, passport and what you address will be in Canada (you don't need proof of that, just tell the officer). The officer will ask you some basic questions like if you feel healthy and if you have committed a crime recently and then you'll go though the landing process.
