Proof of Funds Study Visa

Hi my question is regarding that:

My wife has applied for a college in Canada and has been accepted, she is the principal applicant and I am going as his husband, so, I have the money for the proof of Funds in my personal saving account, should I transfer the money to her account or keep the money in my account and explain that I will support her. I will travel with her obviously to get my open work permit.

On the application form IMM1294E state that you are the sponsor and include all relevant docs to show you are her husband . you may not need to transfer to her account.
