Proof of Funds : Spouse's account

We have the required funds needed for POF. However, that account is in my spouse's name.

What additional documentation is required for me to submit in addition to the bank letter?

Please help with the required steps.

If spouse is accompanying, we did nothing.

Yes, its a joint profile / application. However, I read somewhere that spouse needs to put in an affidavit saying that those funds could be used by spouse for moving to Canada. Is that not applicable in this case?

Affidavit is a one page signed and scanned. Why not
