I received an ITA on Nov 13, 2019 and I am currently working on gathering the required documents.
A bit of back story:
I came to Canada in 2015 and I opened up a bank account where my mom would deposit $100-200 USD every two weeks, in case of an emergency. I've never had the need to use the money, I sometimes use it for larger expenses but very few times. That bank account has enough money to show the required proof of funds.
Should I get a gift deed for this account? I am submitting a proof of funds letter for my Canadian bank account which should cover 90% of the required money ($~12,300.00). Should I require to submit a gift deed for the US Bank account, no large lump sum was transferred, this was all built throughout the years..
