Proof of Funds question - Help Please

While creating an express entry profile there was a question like how much funds can you show in Canadian dollars. And I with utter stupidity said $35000 or more

And now post ITA I will have to prove that I have $35000 or more. Me and wife collectively have more than $35000 in our bank accounts. I have only $20000 in my bank account. And I can prove it by getting a letter from the bank as required. For the extra $15000, my wife will transfer the money into my account. But that would be recent. I cannot get a letter for her from the bank as she is not here with me right now. I am not seeing her at least for a month until she comes from vacation. She can transfer the money and my bank will say it has just been transferred. Is this okay?

I have no idea what I was thinking when declaring over $35000 when the required is $15000 and change. Now will CIC accept this? Or they are only bothered about the minimum requirement which I can prove using my account?

Please advise.

Ask your wife to get proof of fund and send you scan copy or if that is not possible then just ask her to call bank and ask for that letter

Sure. Thank you

I have one more question. Say for example I have enough funds in one bank (Bank of America). Now if I some funds in Chase bank, still I should get a letter from Chase too. Coz the checklist asks me to list all bank accounts and requests letter from all banks. Any idea on this?

I would suggest if that is not a problem then just get it. If you have enough funds in BoFA then just go for one.
