Proof of funds: Question before submitting it to Buffalo, NY

I am almost ready to send my supported documents to Buffalo, NY. As for the Proof funds, what should I send: One-month bank statement, three-month bank statement or just a letter from bank? Have anyone here sent it already and are planning to send it and how? Also, Do I attached a letter explaining the exchange rates to CA dollars?

I'm in the same boat I'll send a letter from the bank, this one I will ask if they can add how much is the money in CAD and one month statement

Good question. I asked my Bank to get me a letter stating how much I have in Canadian dollars and they told me they could not do it.I guess I will just ask for the letter and then attach a explanation for the conversion. Any advice?

Just take a certificate from your banker stating your account closing balance as on XXXXX XX, 2009 and then just convert currency amount stated in bank certificate to Canadian dollar by taking any exchange rate posted at any site (e.g Yahoo Finance) in an additional sheet (also take a print out of the exchange rate site page and attached with your working)
