hi.
I was working as a dentist in Riyadh for past 3 yrs but now I left my job and currently I'm jobless.i hav some money saved in my account and my husband is depositing money every few months in my account to save it for canada immigration.
when I get ita and hav to show proof of funds, would I have to explain that this much money is from my salary and this much from husband?
also I'm the primary applicant. would bank account of husband also be checked? I think he might hav a unpaid credit card.

Are you already in the pool?
They won't usually ask for the source if you have enough funds in your account for 6 months or more before submitting the application (i.e. post ITA)...
If not you may have to explain where you got those from. You can write a letter of explanation saying that your husband has been depositing the amount in your account and you may have to attach his salary slips or anything which says that it is his own money... No, they won't ask his bank account statements...

Cheers.
