Proof of Funds query

Hi All,

I have a question related to proof of funds, I have received PT from Ontario and have only a month left to apply for PNP.

To raise the funds, I decided to sell my property and get the funds but in one month its very difficult.

So we are thinking of selling the car in the name of my husband. I am the principle applicant, so if the car is sold the document will show his name to new owner transfer.

Questions:

1) Is it ok to show funds along with the document that we raised this money after selling the car?
2) This fund I am thinking of transferring to his account as car is in his name and show his account in my application. Is that ok?
3) or do i have to take that money (we will receive cash after selling car) to my account and say that this money was raised by selling my husband's car?

Please advice.

Thank you.

Sell the car, get funds in your spouse's account, ask them to transfer the required funds to your account, get a signed self-declaration from them that the money is a gift not a loan and submit the bank letter along with proof of funds transfer. IRCC won't ask for any document to prove the donor's source of funds.

All the best!

Thank you for the quick reply. So that self declaration doesn't need to be notarised?

Also, I have a question, for e.g. my husband account has AED 10k balance on an average and all of sudden he receives AED 80k (after selling car) and then immediately he transfers to my account.

So will not IRCC wonder or ask, that how did he get the this bulk money, so for that reason do we need to include car sale letter in our application?

Not required.

As I said, IRCC doesn't ask for the donor's source of funds.
