Proof Of Funds Query

Hi Guys,

I have a query about the proof of funds. I have a bank loan that I took to build my house. My house is complete and I have good amount of funds at my disposal. Now, I want to know that can I show this money as proof of funds or not? Although, this is a bank loan for a period of 10 years but I still have this money at MY disposal. I can use this money wherever and however I want.

If the money is at your 'disposal' and 'easily encashable' and more importantly it is in your name, then you can very well use it as POF since CHC is not known to ask for the source of funds.

But you must remember that you have to carry the requisite amount of funds with you when you make the landing.
