Hi, I just got ITA, but my Canadian bank is Present Choice Financial, which is an online bank. I have enough deposit in my account.
Can I provide my account information as proof of funds by using Screen Capture from the bank's official website?
Thanks in advance

Screenshots won't suffice. You'll have to figure out someway of getting these statements manually authorized (signed/stamped) by the bank authorities before submission.

Next time when you go to any PC stores. They usually have a small office in most of the stores for PC financial go talk to them and see what they can do for you.

for PR applications, CIC actually needs a letter on banks letter head , with sign and stamp covering essential details as

account title
date of opening
type of account
average and current balance [average balance clarifies any sudden bulk inflow of cash into your account as CIC get dubious that one has just taken loan from somebody to meet the fund threshold]

which could then be further supported by statement [signed and stamped] that verifies that the average and current balance mentioned in the letter coincides with that of the statement :)

you can get all these by approaching at your bank :)

but my case is that I have left canada due to work permit expires.
approach any friend or acquaintance who can do the job for you; OR

call the bank/financial institution and ask them to do the favor by sending courier of the required documents to you :)

Ok so I would first try feejay87's suggestion.

I saw another applicant sometime ago under the rejection thread who got application refused due to bank statements not being in bank letterhead. See if you could find that post in that thread, but from what I remember he/she was also from PC and transferred their funds to another bank and got the statements to submit a CSE.

Please don't panic after me posting this. I would first try to find that post in the rejection thread on this forum.

No matter what your situation is, this definitely will not work. If you need to prove sufficient funds, you will be rejected if this is your only evidence. I say this because there was definitely someone on this board who had the sad experience.

If you can get a letter on letterhead from this bank with all the necessary information, you are good to go. But if you cannot get a letter on letterhead from these people, you need to transfer your money to a brick and mortar bank. You need to document the transfer of the money by showing it in the online account in your name and then documenting the transfer to the new account. You can then get the letter showing sufficient funds in the new account, and use the transfer documents and online statements from the past 6 months from the internet bank to show that the money was present in your name for that amount of time. Then submit a letter of explanation as well, explaining the transfer, with the reason being that your internet bank could not supply a letter on letterhead for CIC.
