Proof of Funds on landing - modes of carrying

Hi Everyone,

I have got my PR visa and prepared to go in a few days. I want to know which of the means below are accepted for Proof of funds t show at immigration on lading IF asked.

- Traveller's Cheque
- Demand Draft ( Handwritten and Typed?)
- Sending from scotia india branch ( i have just submitted A/C opening form for start right program)

Please advise based on your experiences.

Usually they do not ask but if they do, bank statements should be sufficient. Travelers checks would be fine. I don't think you need a DD for your first arrival. Remember, all your documents have already been reviewed and you have been granted the immigrant visa. So, no formal requirements other than you showing up with your visa and COPR.
