Proof of funds - Lesser amount than submitted on Express Entry when applying

I have more than the minimum funds (18000 CAD), however in the express entry profile I inputted a larger amount (20,000 CAD - as I will have more money when I arrive in Canada if accepted).

Can I show a lower amount than expressed in the express entry profile and then show the full amount when (if) I land in Canada?

As long as the funds you are showing is larger than the minimum funds required, there is no problem. I put $20k in my EE profile and showed only $17.5k in my PR application. But take in to account the exchange rate changes and show atleast $500-$1000 more to be on the safer side.
