Hi,
I (the father) created an ircc portal account in my name to apply for visitor visa for my new born twin babies and appointed myself as there non paid representative.
Is it okay if the money for proof of funds is in the bank account of my wife knowing tha shes accopanying us.Or we should createe an account in her name and make her the representative.

Thans in advance

Why are you a non-paid representative and why aren’t you just applying all together. Why do you have a representative?

Me and my wife traveled to Canada for a week in July 2023 to validate our Permanent Resident status and requested our pr cards (received and brought to us in our home country by a friend).

When we returned to our home country Algeria, my wife got pregnant and we had to wait to deliver the babies.

Now, we want to go back to Canada and we have to apply for a visit visa for the twin.

Why not have the father go to Canada alone and sponsor the twin for immigration instead? Make more sense because as visitors, the children will not have provincial healthcare and have to wait until they become PR. Besides during the father being alone in Canada, he can set up the residence, etc.
