Hi Guys

So here is my questions and I am not sure if its been addressed before.

My PoF requirement is $12,300 (I am single and unmarried).

However, I have more than $12,300 in my account.

My question is, should the amount that you say you will bring with you to Canada, match your account balance or is it okay if I say $15,000 (more than the $12,300 requirement) and show more than $15,000?

Will this be okay?

Yes. You can show that you have more than the required liquid funds, it should not be an issue.

Yes, but should it match the amount that I say on the application? If I say 15,000 shoudl my account balance also be 15,000 or is it okay as long as it is 15,000 and above?

You can do that. I applied stating that I had the required amount only but showed that we had more than we initially said.

Just make sure that the amount does not reflect a loan taken out to assure PoF (by showing that the balance has been there for more or less six months or providing other documents to support where it came from e.g. company bonus/ gift affidavit)

Good luck with the application!

Hey guys, Just want to inquire when I can withdraw my POF? can I withdraw the amount before I travel to Canada? will they verify at CBSF when landed?
