I am currently having a joint account with my mother. My father gifted me the money via Gift Deed execution on which my mother was a witness. I had added my mother to the account in case the family needed to withdraw the amount in case of emergency in my absence
Now will it be acceptable as PoF if i also get a declaration signed by my mother stating that this money is only for my use and she has no issue with it?
Or i need to create a new bank account only in my name and transfer the money into? If i go with this, wont the account age be less than 6 months or even 3 months be an issue?
i have gone through various threads stating that joint account with mother will not be acceptable but then what about the bank account age issue? I would like to receive feedback from some1 who got or did not get acceptance of this application due to this issue.
