I am in the process of collecting all my paperwork to submit into the express entry portal.
For the proof of funds, my father will be gifting me the entire amount in 1 transfer from his account to my account.

1. Does the affidavit provided by him stating that the money is gifted to me and he has not interest in it have to be self attested or does he need a lawyer to attest it?
2. Do we need to show his bank account details as well or is just my 6 months average and 6 months individual sufficient with the gift deed and an LOE?

Thanks!

Affidavit is enough
You do not need to show his bank account details. You should only show the actual ( transfer) from his to yours. Like I personally provided a small paper slip from the ATM machine that we used to deposit the cash into my account along with the gift deed and that was enough.
Good luck

Did you submit that to the lawyer? Or did you attach it along with the gift deed when you uploaded the documents to CIC?

My dad is a lawyer, so I just got his office stamp on the gift deed with his details and the line (witnessed and approved). Not necessary though.

The gift was done via several transactions from the same account to mine. How can I explain this in the deed?
