Proof of Funds: funds in wifes name

I recently received the ITA. I am the primary applicant and my wife will be accompanying me to Canada.
While showing the proof of funds (PoF),in my case, there is term deposit created solely on my wife's name (i.e.,not owned jointly). If yes is there any letter required from her end authorising the usage of the statement as the PoF.
Will that be accepted when I am applying?
