Proof of funds from International Banks

I am currently working in the Middle East and wanted to transfer money from my bank here to the bank in my home country to show as a proof of funds.

Question

Will I have to prove where the money came from? or it's enough that it shows I have sufficient funds.

People have been rejected for that in the past. It's best to get stamped statements.
