Proof Of Funds from Canada in CAD

Hi ,

My niece wants to come to Canada on study visa and I want to be her sponsor here to provide all the funds that she would need,

Can someone suggest if it is possible if I can show all the funds in CAD from a Canadian Bank?

also how old the statement should be ? Does the money be there from last few months ?

You can show the funds but her and her family need to show most of the funds to support her studies. Since she needs to show career advancement and job prospects in home country, she needs to show why spending tens of thousands is worthwhile. Are your funds enough and liquid? Are these your life’s savings?
