I had applied for Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program and received my endorsement letter from the province. My employer wants me to apply for a work permit. My common law partner with our 2 kids ages 4 and 2 will accompany us. As far as I know, my common law can apply for open work permit and my 2 kids will apply for temporary resident visa. Now my question is, how much should we have in our bank account as a proof of funds. Since I will apply for a work permit and my common law will apply for an open work permit, should we have funds for a family of 4? I will appreciate whoever will reply in my query.
