Proof of Funds for PR under OINP

I want to know whether proof of funds are required to apply for PR after receiving OINP Nomination under Masters Graduate program.

Yes, proof of funds is always required unless you have a job offer.

The application checklist for PR - Provincial Nominee Class does not include proof of funds. Below is the link:

Why do they not include proof of funds in the checklist then?

Yes, I also have same doubts.
May be that the above link is applicable specifically for direct Express Entry programs only.

It would be better if someone who already applied before could throw some light on this.

You need proof of funds till landing moment
An immigrant will be asked for proof of funds at port of entry by an immigrant officer in the airport.
You whether show cash
Account statement
Or cash transfer to Canadian bank account under your name

I am not on express entry and submitted a paper application in July 2019.

Yes, it is very confusing as I had a job offer to get ONIP. and have a 'offer of employment' but it is not clear anywhere if my job offer is valid. But i'll give them all details/information I can, thats all i can do.
