Hi Team

I am currently in Canada and have been working full-time in BC since, Dec 2021 on closed work permit. I have got nomination from BC and recently got ITA to apply for permanent residence under the PNP. Also when see my EE profile it shows that I meet CEC as well. My question is that do I need to show Proof of funds in my case?

Thanks !!

I was in the same boat - and AFAIK PNP follows the same proof of funds guidelines as long as you meet the program requirements for CEC or if you have an offer of arranged employment, you will not have to provide proof of funds.

I submitted my PNP-EE PR Application recently- I attached a LOE and documentation to show that I have a valid job offer (even though I've already been working in Canada for 3+ years), that I'm currently working on BOWP# XXXXXXX and I also submitted pay stubs going back 6 months or so to support that I'm working/earning money. I know my application passed R10, I'm not sure if they check for it other times of the application.

Hi,
If you applied through CEC, you do need to show POF. However, it is advisable to attach a letter of explanation stating that you applied through CEC and it is not required of you to provide POF. Best of luck!
