Proof of Funds: Expat not submitting residence country bank documents

Dear all,

Yet another PoF thread. I have tried searching in existing threads for answer to my question but couldn’t find it.

Reading through previous answers from experienced members, I have understood that if one bank can provide all the required mandatory details and funds, it is sufficient.

My only pending question is if I submit all the details from one bank in my home country (India) only, can that be an issue? In this case, I won’t be submitting any bank proof for my resident country (UAE).

I could, after jumping through a lot of hoops, obtain a reference letter, 6 months bank statement (50+ pages) and No liability letter from my bank in Resident Country, but will it be required? I am worried this might just complicate things. I don’t have much funds in this bank anyway. All my savings are in my home country.

If senior members or someone who has been through similar situation can please advise.

One bank account with the required amount of fund will suffice. There is no need to submit anything from the other bank account. Good luck!
