Proof of funds at landing.. POE

Hi.. i would like to ask.. has anyone have experience weather Visa Officer asked about proof of funds from Student at arrival in canada ?? Should i take money with me.. although i have 6000 CAD cash available and bank statememts... should i take more in form of bank draft or is it ok o tell them i will open up bank account and wire transfer my funds soon. ???

You don't need to have any money on you, the bank statements are enough as long as you can access the money.
