Proof of funds: are bank statements enough?

Hi all, my savings are in a bank overseas (Natwest) that refuses to provide a financial portfolio statement, and I now live in Canada so cannot go in person to the branch to bully them.

Would a financial profile of my TD account here (not much money) and my bank statements for the last 6 months + for the Natwest account suffice?

Can they provide just a Balance Certificate?

Can they provide just a Balance Certificate?

Apparently not... just a statement.
I specifically asked for it to include when the account was opened but they can't do it.

I know Chase bank can not provide that either, and applications who have POF in that bank usually uploads the statement only. It might be similar to your bank as well, do thorough research.
