Hello,

Please, I need pieces of advice. I am preparing my file for the study permit. I have been studying accounting all through and now I want to go in for an MBA programme which I already have the admission letter. I want advice on the following;
1) should I pay all my fees before submitting my file at the embassy?.
2) my tuition fee is 34000CAD for two years, I have 19700CAD in my Account and My mother wants to give me 15000CAD. so my problem is should my mother transfer this money into my account so as to make a bank statement with my name or should I take her bank statement and join with my own when submitting my proof of funds?

please, I need genuine responses. Thanks

1) You only need to show 1 year worth of funds not the who two years.
2) Your tuition fee is probably $17,000 per year. You need to show that you have enough funds for 1 year tuition and for single applicant $10,000 proof of funds. Add an extra for air ticket too. If she wants to give you $15,000 use the 10,000 and get a GIC from Scotiabank. That will cover the money for proof of funds. The remaining $5,000... if you can pay your tuition then use that money to pay for it.
