Hello Guys,

My placement which is a part of my study program has been postponed for 4.5 months so I need to extend my study permit by 1.5 months. I have already paid my tuition fees for my postponed placement. So can anyone suggest me how much money should I show on my bank account in order to extend study permit.

I think living expenses for that period and a bit more for in case of emergency or return flight, would be suitable.

Living expenses on an average on cic site per year are around CAD 10,000/- so you can divide them on per month basis.

Thank you for your reply. I was wondering if I need to show bank transaction of 4 months period or only bank balance certificate would be fine?

Proper 4 months statement showing debit credit and proof of income and expenses is best statement. Many people prepare fake statements which is not suitable for approval as VO is expert in observation.
