I submitted my eAPR and the documents I submitted for Proof of Fund are as follows:
1) Bank A/C Certificate
2) Bank Statement (Savings A/C)
3) Gift Deed from Father
4) Bank Statement (Salary A/C)
Majority of my fund came as a gift from my father for which I attached a gift deed (with affidavit) from my father. In addition, part of the balance was saved up from my salary and I included a bank statement of my salary account - highlighting all the withdrawals which made up the partial balance. I also included a Letter of Explanation for explaining all these.
Can CIC now ask for my father's papers or inquire about how he got the money? Looking forward to your response.
