Proof of Fund

Dear All,

Seeking guidance on the following issues:

1. I am the principal applicant. My spouse will accompany me. Do I need to show the money in my account or it can be shown from both of my and my spouse's account?

2. DPS/FDR can also be used for proof of fund?

3. For how long the money needs to be in the account? I heard its 6 month. please correct me if I am wrong,.

1 - The funds can also be in your spouse's account.

2 - No comment.

3 - There is no rule that the funds must be in the applicants account for X period of time. As long as you can prove where the funds come from (salary, gift deed, sale of assets) you can submit your application even if the funds have only been in the account for a day.
