Proof of fund for visitor visa from Bangladesh

Hi,

I am planning to visit to Canana sometime in June 2016.

A very close friend is going to send me the invitation letter.

I work for a corporate company in Bangladesh.

I will be in Canada for 2 months approximately (a little bit less actually).

How much funds for how long should I show in my bank statement as proof of funds?

Hi Hasan,

Based on what you've written, a key concern is the duration of your visit. A stay of nearly 2 months indicates that your employment ties are not strong = someone else from your office can do your work = possibility of a TRV refusal.

You may want to show a much shorter visit of about 2-2.5 weeks max.

Your bank balance and financial investments must match your income. Whatever funds you *show* must be your own without any large deposits just to get a TRV.
