I am gather documents for my parents super visa, I have an inquiry regarding how to prove sufficient funds?

1- how much is required to show on your bank account as sufficient proof of fund, and for how many months back?

2- I have PC financial bank account as well as TD bank, I first started working in Canada in november 2016, my salary goes to my bank account in PC financial, then I make online money transfer to my TD bank account, both banks have the option of getting online bank statement with bank's letter head and personal information shown on electronically on PDF document, but the statement don't have the official bank's stamp
My question, is this form of computerized bank statement enough to show proof of funds avaliable or shall I print them all and go to both banks and stamp all the bank statement for the previous months.

3- Do I have to show as well proof of online transfer between the two accounts, and explain that in the invitation letter.?!

4- what is difference between invitation letter and affidavit? can't I include my financial statement and I will financially sponsor my parents in the invitation letter ? or it should be stated in seperate document '' Affidavit''

5- I am applying online by using MyCIC application, do i have to print any document where it requires my parents signature, I read somewhere that for online applications ,you dont have to literary sign on any document

6- FOR PC FINANICAL BANK , DO I HAVE TO GO TO ONE OF THE MALLS TO GET IT STAMPED, ISNT THERE AN ONLINE STAMPING OR SOMETHING SIMILAR.?

Aside inquiry:

1- In the super visa application ,I entered 30 days as the time my parents want to visit, I know supervisa is for those who want to stay more than 6 months, but due to my parents work, they only have a month of annual vocation but I want the liberty of visiting anytime within the next 2 years, that is why I applied to super visa.

would the embassy reject the super visa and ask to switch to regular visitor visa because of the above reason.?

I read some of your recent post and have the following questions:

1) Do you qualify for meeting the LICO requirements for super visa? In your situation, it makes more sense for regular TRV. On a side note, I suggested this before (at least 18 months ago) and did your parents even try to get one? If not, why the wait?
2) How much do you and your parents have in bank account?
3) Do you know what an affidavit means?
4) What do you mean of "going to one of the malls to get it stamped"?
5) Since your parents can only stay for 1 month due to their annual leaves, why don't they apply a regular multiple entry TRV? FYI, this poster just got a 9 years multiple entry TRV:

I am not sure,I started new job back in November 2016 my salary was 25$/hr, After propational period I got a raise and now make 31.5$/hr, if multiplied by 2080=65,5520$ annually, but the problem is I have to wait for next year to get T4/NOA,as my current T4 only shows income of Nov+Dec which is below income, I got letter of employement stating my annual pay salary and couple of pay stubs on company letter head paper, so do meet the LICO requirement or I have to wait for a year to show T4/NAO?

- No parents never tried TRV, i was afraid they might get rejected same as a lot of applicants of my nationality ,Somali, as I am the only son of my parents ,who dont have a travel history,i thought they will get rejection right away as they have more ties in Canada than in dubai, although they own a property there and have a really strong savings like they can buy a house here in Canada right away and extra money, that is I thought they miight have a better chance in super visa application since i started working now,and this application is primarily intented for parents to meet their children in Canada,so that will eliminate the canada ties issue, what you think ? did I calculate it correctly or you think they have better chance with TRV

2) How much do you and your parents have in bank account?
I started working back in Nov 2016, so I didnt save a lot of money, but currently I have like 6000$, what is important here? to show you have a steady salary deposits or the total balance? how much is required to have in the bank for a family of 5+2parents ( currently wife and kids are out of the country)

3) Do you know what an affidavit means?
Yes, a statement that you will financially be responsible for the people you going to sponsor

4) What do you mean of "going to one of the malls to get it stamped"?

I have PC Financial bank account, PC fiancially is not a real bank by the real sense of the word, their office usually is a small office in Fortinos or other big malls, anyhow I went there yesterday and they said ,they cant stamp on the bank statement, contrary to TD bank in which they did

5) Since your parents can only stay for 1 month due to their annual leaves, why don't they apply a regular multiple entry TRV? FYI, this poster just got a 9 years multiple entry TRV:

I would love to if they stay more, but father annaul leave is max a month, so they will leave but for sure they can come more frequenly during the 2 years of super visa period.

I dont know how this 9 years TRV work? but I think it is given based on your nationality, I know some from middleastern countries got only 6 months, so i would accept for my nationaliy they would even give less period, hence I would apply for super visa so they can visti any period of time within this 2 years period of super visa, am I right on this?please correct me if you have better knowledge about it.
Thank you again Steaky.

I agree with steaky. Your parents should apply for TRVs and not for super visas.

Financially, currently you're barely there in meeting LICO including your savings. If you are unable to prove that you have adequate finances to host your parents on super visas (which is one of the critical criteria for super visas) then they risk getting refused.

Based on your posts, your parents have better chances to get TRVs instead: They are employed + own property in Dubai + have extremely strong financial situation.

There are ways to work around the no travel history + stronger family ties in Canada (because of you) aspects. Also, as your parents intend to visit for short duration, TRVs would be a better option.

but I want the liberty of visiting anytime within the next 2 years, that is why I applied to super visa.
Your parents can visit anytime in the next 2 years even on TRVs.

Maybe you have misunderstood the concept of super visas. While a TRV allows someone to enter/remain in Canada for up to 6 months on initial entry, a super visa would allow someone to enter/remain for up to 2 years on initial entry..... without having to apply to extend his/her visitor status. How long they are allowed to remain in Canada would depend on the CBSA officer at the POE.

Someone can leave the next day (after entering Canada on either the TRV/super visa) and can come back after maybe a day/week/month and s/he would again get assessed for a new stay.

As for your parents' country of nationality, the visa officer will determine their ties to Dubai.... including their residence/immigration status there + how long they have been staying in Dubai + their strong ties to Dubai. If they have been living in Dubai for years and are well-established then their nationality/ties to their original home country would become secondary aspects

That is incorrect.

An affidavit is a document that contains facts that you swear under oath or affirm to be true (in the presence of a notary public or lawyer).

Unless the visa office say so, you don't need to have an affidavit. Letter of invitation is optional. People can apply without invitation letter.

Hello Guys.

Its good to be on this forum after almost 2 years. This is a wonderful forum and really helped me a lot during my own immigration process.

Right now, I am intending to apply for super visa of parents from Pakistan. Any one here who has applied or applying? Please share your experiences.

Plus if some one can guide:

1. Do we need to send a cover letter with application from parents side?
2. What kind of financial proof is acceptable and is there any minimum requirement?
3. What is the effective and best mode to apply. Online or VFS?
4. Any other advise please.

Thanks. Will be in touch.
