Hi,

How to prove it? I have the enough amount of money to support my first year of studies (tuition & expenses), but my bank account is too new, how many months of bank statements I need to prove?

What counts, final balance or total balance (bank movements)?

For example; If I have to prove $22,000 CAD to support my first year, do I have to maintain this amount in my account for an specific period of time?

A certified letter from the bank stating I can afford it, works?

What about credit cards? The credit counts towards the total of the financial support?

Thanks :)

There is no criteria for the bank account to be old enough or to maintain the fund for specific time..
but show statements of at least 2 months. Also, make sure to maintain the same or higher fund than it was shown while applying for visa, don't debit from the account till the approval, even if there is enough fund.
The bank statements should not be older than 10 days at the time of application.

You can get a net worth Certificate from a chartered accountant stating all your liquid, movable, immovable assets. This way your profile gets strong. Attach bank statement too.
