My brother in law (an Indian citizen) recently returned home after quitting a bad job in Canada. He is planning on returning to Canada shortly to look for work, as he holds a valid PGWP (expiring in March 2012), but he has to obtain a new TRV for his re-entry to Canada. His TRV application has been sent back with the request from the High Commission for proof of his employment in Canada, something which he can no longer provide. Is the fact he is currently unemployed going to be a problem in obtaining a new TRV? How should he reply to the request for proof of employment in Canada?

Thanks a lot for your help.

They want the Record of Employment that employer should have issued when the BiL quit.
