Hi guys,

I am trying to apply for a study permit and I want to bring my family with me.

I applied for my wife a work permit and I need to provide

a proof of Document: Purpose of Travel - Other

You must submit proof that you are coming to Canada for a temporary visit Opens a new window.

Examples of what you can provide as proof:

A scanned copy of:

Your flight ticket departing Canada,
Your travel itinerary (e.g. places you will visit or stay, such as hotel booking),
Proof of a medical appointment.

how I am supposed to book a ticket before knowing whether they will give me the visa or not ? and I am supposed to book the tickets two years in advance???

hi, you must show linkages to home country that will compel you to go back to your home country. These linkages are property you hold and valid job offer on return. They do not ask for return tickets when you apply for visas.
