Hi everybody,
We just received a letter from cic to provide them with proof of cohabitation.
So we have been married for an year and living together. I have sponsored my husband and he is not working but I am.
What we have with us as a proof : lease agreement with our names on it, and both our driver license have same address, our mails come on same address, and recently my husband received a letter from CBSA to meet them and it was also on same address. We do have car auto show tickets online receipts with both our names on it.
What we don't have is joint bank account as my husband is not working. I tried to add my husband to my health insurance plan but insurance dint let us as my husband did not have OHIP. And we don't pay utility bills as we have leased a condo building and everything is included in the maintenance fee, which is paid my landlord. I just pay the rent to landlord by myself and my husband is not working.
My question is the lease agreement, driver licenses and mail is enough for cic as proofs or we need to do more. Is it too late to open a bank account as we have one month to provide cic with documents or even is it necessary?
Your response will be much appreciated.
