Hey guys, do any of you know how long it takes CIC to send out a confirmation of receipt letter for Proof of Citizenship Certificate applications submitted in Canada?

It's been a month and the letter is required by the Cdn embassy to issue a baby temp Cdn passport.

They probably don't, the processing time is 5 months.

Why did not you apply both at the embassy, then they know that you have applied for child's citizenship?

Leon guided me to apply for both at Pak embassy and not in Canada.

You can call them and ask them for it.

So I've phoned CIC call centre and they said wait 2-3 more weeks for the confirmation of receipt, they're only opening applications received end of August now... Case closed... Thanks all!
