My son was born in Dec last year outside of Canada (in Pak). We applied for his proof of Citizenship in January. We haven't heard from the embassy or CIC through any mailed acknowledgement through out this time. All we have is a receipt letter from Lahore consulate that they gave us when we submitted the application by hand. It has a 6-digit number. I've been trying to track it on the CIC website for months but everytime it says no record found. Citizenship file number seems to be the most logical of below, but iv tried all.
