I have done a year diploma in Canada can I send the copy of that certificate as proof of English for citizenship or I have to do ESol . Please let me know thank you

If you have completed program (diploma) showing you studied in English in Canada then you can use it as a proof of English for citizenship.

Diploma will not worK?

They do accept Diploma as per Language requirement section, but does it says on your Diploma that medium of instruction was in English. If yes, then you should be good I would also recommend just add an explanation letter that you are including Diploma with your application as a Proof of English.

Examples of the types of language evidence that can be submitted include:

1. You attended or are currently attending a secondary or post-secondary education program in English or French, either in Canada or abroad, including:
   • A degree, diploma, certificate or official transcripts from a secondary or post-secondary education program showing you studied in English or French, in Canada or abroad.
   • If the original document is in a different language, include:
     • a letter from the school showing that the language of instruction was in English or French along with (including an official translation of the original document, if needed)
     • the address and contact information (phone number) of the education institution

Please advise if Higher Secondary Certificate of Pakistan (12 Grade) will be accepted as a proof of English language requirement for Citizenship application?
Despite of the fact that it doesnt mention that medium of instruction was English

Is Canadian language benchmark placement test (CLBPT) assessment result from Newcomer Information Center is acceptable for citizenship requirement?
