I did my bachelors from one of the university (Shadan College of Engg & Technoloy) affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad - India. where can I get certificate of accreditation? when I called my college authorities they said JNTU is recognized everywhere in the world and doesn't need any accreditation

hmm.normally you can certified you Degree from Ministry of HRD and Ministryt of External Affairs in New Delhi.it take only few hours and very nominal fee.they put stamp & Attestation in back side of your degree.this is best option.

i dont think its needed.you hv to show only notarzied copy whn CHC ask for documents.but for your satisfaction you can do that also.

i have done this 6 year back.when i starts work on employment visa in Middle East.

Please be advised that when high commission asked about accreditation ,that university has not good rating with high commission so you hv to prove it by attesting it with higher education commission and ministry of foreign affairs ,and also your university must be recognized when you graduated ,if your university recognized after you graduated ,your attestation will not be accepted by the high commision....good luck

Generally speaking, the registrar of the educational institute should be able to furbish a letter stating the accreditation of the university and the affiliation, if any. When I submitted my documents for Dehradun Institute of Technology, I got a letter from this college as well as CCS Meerut, the affiliation body. This worked out very well for me although I admit, it took some follow-up and quite a few calls/emails. The letter was scanned and emailed to me which I appended to the application.
I hope this information helps. You can off course goto the Ministry and ask them to give a letter stating the college as recognized and approved to provide degrees.

I live in US, so I saw an option ["ATTESTATION OF TRUE COPIES: Documents in original along with two sets of photocopies of the documents and original passport and a fee of $10/- has to be submitted."] on the New york Indian Consulate website under services section.

Is this valid for attestation and I am not sure does it mean proof of accreditation?

Yes, that is good for attesting purposes. It is like sending proof of your education. You need not goto the consulate to get that done. I got it done at Bank of America where they have notaries and they will do it for free if you have an account with them.

Accreditation proof states that all these education documents you are submitting are from a legitimate and verifiable college. For that call up your Indian college registrar and get things done.

I called up my college principal and they are saying not need and they don't provide it seems.

I know this post is really old. But as you are also from CCS, so I want to ask you one question. I am planning to apply under quebec PNP. for that I am in process to collect all required document. I am not sure you can help me or not but still asking. I did my B.E. from S.D.ENG. COLLEGE, MUZAFFARNAGAR UNDER CCS UNIVERSITY. now I need all certified true copies and transcript as well. Would you be able to tell me what is the procedure. Where should I approach college or university. And as my current location is trinidad & tobago, do i need to send my originals India or photocopies will be fine.

I think you must be settle there now. plz share your experience, how did you find first few years there, it was easy to live and mold yourself or life was lil hard in starting.
