Hi,
After being withdrawn from current 1year PG program(which started in Sept 2018) and enrolled in another 1 year PG program that's going to start only in January 2019. Since I can't work for a couple of months, what are the best ways to spend this time so that later it won't affect me when I renew my study permit or apply for PGWP? Seniors and people who might have gone through this issue, please advise.
-Is it okay if I take driving license during this time- like G2 or G license? Like do I have to totally refrain from doing anything?
-Can I volunteer or participate in activities or training programs or charity works that are unpaid?
Also, from what I understand, I don't need to extend my TRV, which is only valid till 2019 August unless I am planning to go back to India and return. As long as I am in Canada, we only need to extend the study permit. Am I right in this regard?
