Program Choice Issues

I have a Diploma in Ports and Shipping Admin in my home country. There's no degree program in ports and shipping beginning in January 2020 in Canada.

Can I apply for a two year diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Mgt in Canada? For me they're related but what will the visa officer think?

They seem logically connected to me, but as always, you will need a strong statement of purpose to convince a visa officer of that.
