Profile updated to ineligible....

Hi All,

Any help here would be much appreciated. I logged on today and updated my work history ( I previously had 10.5 years) by removing my first ever job - purely as I may struggle to get a reference that far back. This reduced my work history to 8.5 years. Shortly after the update I received a message stating that my profile is now ineligible. I can view my application, however I cannot update anything - sections are now marked with the word "transmitted". I have raised a "technical error" through the site as I don't see how this makes sense.

Has anyone been through this before? Should I wait for a response or create a new application?

Do you think? If that's the case then it would have switched to ineligible when I received the notice of investigation....that was over a week ago.

Hard to know for sure - but 8.5 years is more than enough (you only need 1 year to be eligible, and 3 to max out points). I guess you're going to have to wait to see what CIC says.
