Hi,
I was sitting on 438 Points since February 2015 (with ECA and IELTS done), but in February this year my IELTS expired (I was waiting for the points to go below 450 to make my profile). After waiting for 2 years, just 3 Weeks later CIC decided to go below my CRS. (My IELTS score in 2015 was Listening 8.5, Reading 8.5, Writing 7.0, Speaking 8.0)
Anyways, I just made my EE profile after being eligible under CIC requirements. But after submitting my profile using the reference number I got a message saying my profile is ineligible due to the following reasons:
Below are a few examples of why a candidate will be found ineligible:
• not having a valid language test,
• language test results that are more than two years old,
• a language test score that is too low,
• not having enough relevant work experience,
• not having the required education level,
• not having enough funds.
I sat for IELTS on 25th March this year again and I scored : Listening 8.0, Reading 7.5, Writing 6.5, Speaking 8.0 and my current CRS is 387, even though I havent lost points for Age. Basically I have lost 51 points due to my poor IELTS score this time. I am sitting for IELTS again on 29th April.
I am still not sure why my profile is ineligible. The only thing that has changed is my Marital status. My spouse is still studying and she wont finish her MBBS and the following Internship for another 4 years hence she wont be accompanying me.
I did mention that my spouse wont be accompanying me. In one of the questions CIC asked about number of family members including those that wont be accompanying me so I put in 2 as per instructions. The following question was how much funds I will be taking to Canada. As I wont be taking my Spouse I entered $13000 CAD.
Could it be the reason why my Profile became ineligible?
Please advise, do I have to show Funds for 2 people even though I will be going alone?
